B-ty Institute Natural Hair Care Program Announcement

Note:
The upcoming Spring Trimester, running from March 9, 2025, to June 5, 2025, will be the final session under B-ty Institute’s current trimester schedule. Starting with the Fall Semester of 2025, we will transition to a semester-based calendar. This new format includes a five-month program with classes held four days per week, offering the flexibility to choose between day or evening sessions. This shift is designed to support our students in balancing their personal, professional, and educational commitments effectively.

Program Overview

The Natural Hair Care program at B-ty Institute equips students with the skills and knowledge necessary for a thriving career in the Natural Hair Care industry. Our mission is to nurture leaders who are prepared to take ownership of their futures. In addition to obtaining a Natural Hair Care license by passing the North Carolina State Board of Cosmetic Arts Examiners exams, students are empowered with entrepreneurial skills to successfully manage and operate their own salons. This program is designed not just to teach students a trade but to help them create a lasting impact within their communities.

Current Program Details (Spring 2025)

• Program Length: 10 weeks (minimum of 300 hours)
• Schedule:
  • Two days per week, 10 hours per day
  • 1.5-hour lunch break
  • Options:
    • Monday and Thursday
    • Tuesday and Wednesday
• Start Date: March 9, 2025
• End Date: June 5, 2025

Future Program Details (Fall 2025 Onward)

• Program Length: Five months (minimum of 300 hours)
• Schedule:
  • Four days per week
  • Day or evening classes available
• Start Date: August 4, 2025
• End Date: Refer to future academic schedules

Upon submitting your enrollment application, a non-refundable application fee is required. Your application will only be successfully submitted once the fee is paid, and you click the “Submit” button. If the application fee is not paid, your application will not be delivered to the B-ty Institute Admissions for processing. Instead, it will be routed to the cloud, and our admin team will only receive a notification that an attempt was made to submit an application.

In the rare event that you are not accepted to B-ty Institute due to reasons such as delays or errors on our part (e.g., the application was not processed in a timely manner), the application fee will be fully refundable.
