I was inspired to choose to the field of natural hair care because I will like to make a difference in a life as of others. There is nothing like touching the lives of people in a form of beauty. And the natural hair care field set the perfect platform for me to express my skills and talents through touch.
After tremendous search on Google, I kept on running interviewed institute. And after through research into school I knew there were no other like the school and I had to allow them to be a part of my educational journey. Now want to sit back and look into my past I am grateful that I chose this institution because they are nothing short of the best.
Oh my gosh this is a tough one because there’s so many great Memorable that I experience at this institution. But if I have to point out at least one I will say that the determination of my instructor Ms. Grace. She was determine to transform me from a Caterpillar‘s into a beauty butterfly, of wish I am now flying without limits in the wide range world of the natural hair care industry.
B-ty institute, Ms. Grace, and the course curriculum are the perfect combination that can lead any student till successful career and lifestyle. And I can make such a statement with full confidence because I am a living witness to the Unbelievable and exciting experience that I had, but best of all it shows through the results of my current career path.
Although obtaining my natural hair care license and establishing my business has been one of my greatest accomplishments in the natural hair gets here but attorney be raised to two and graduating with a family is also one of my greatest accomplishments. I remember on the fist Day of class one mis Chris introduced the whole class to each other as sisters and brothers in the industry and not each other competitions. That moment set the foundation that allows us to grown and graduate as family of entrepreneurs supporting each other.

I was inspired to invent the Carousel Braids Style because of my past experience of how unpredictable life can be which remind me of effect of the Carousel roller coaster delusion. The temporary mixed feeling of excitement while feeling sick at the same time give you the rush of desire and confusion at the same time, Brough forth the Carousel Braids to reality.

I grew up around people who didn't have or understand natural black hair. On top of that, it was difficult to find information about how to style or take care of my hair. So, naturally, I was uneducated about it. As a result, I had very damaged, dry, and brittle hair. And to make it worse I didn't see the beauty in my own crown.
When I made the choice to embrace my natural hair, I felt bullied by it. It was like a disobedient child, never willing to cooperate. Eventually, I became educated about black hair through years of, ongoing, research of trial and error. Since then, I've been able to take back the control. I finally saw how beautiful black hair is and that it is capable of anything. Somewhere along my hair journey I started making my own hair products. Once I started, my hair changed completely!
Naturally Shea•mless was inspired by that feeling of powerlessness that almost every woman has felt in her lifetime or in her natural hair journey. I want to help other women take back the control they deserve, by providing high-end natural hair care services and personalized hair care regimens. I remember what it felt like being a Naturalista that felt bullied by my unhealthy hair. I decided to begin my education journey with B-ty Institute to inspire, educate, and assist other women in their natural hair journey.
My most memorable experience at B-ty Institute would be the total sense of safety I felt to learn, express myself, and help others in class. I had never experienced that feeling among my peers before to that degree!
So far, just one year in, my greatest accomplishment in the Natural Hair Care Field has been working with one particular client who came to me with several hair concerns. Not only did she suffer from chemical damage, heat damage, and alopecia. She also suffered from seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis. Her main hair goal was to have her curls back. I definitely had my work cut out for me but after sending her to see a dermatologist, I put together a hair treatment plan to work alongside with her doctor and a hair care regimen to ensure we could reach her goals of a healthy scalp and healthy beautiful curls! Each month her hair and scalp improved. After just seven months her hair and scalp completely transformed! I'm so proud of the clear and obvious progress this Client has made under my care. She is still with me today on one of my Natural Hair Care Subscription Plans seeing me twice a month and continues to thrive.
My inventive style is a unique macrame stitch style called DNA Braids. It was inspired by my childhood experiences of making bracelets and is something that has never been done before! A special technique and style of yarn hair is used to accomplish this unique style. DNA Braids can also be done in any color up to mid shoulder length. DNA Braids may take 11-14 hours to install however, they are a protective style that can be worn for as long as 6 months depending on the rate at which your hair grows. Your hair left in this protective style is completely untouched by the elements and everyday wear and tear. It truly is the ultimate protective style!

I have always had the desire to do hair since the age of 9. I was not interested in being a cosmetologist, so the natural hare care field was right up my ally. Braiding has always been the go-to styles for all of my clients, so I never second-guessed which license to get.
The convenience led me to begin my education journey with B-ty Institute. I loved the fact that I didn't have to attend class every day. This worked wonders because at the time I was a single parent. I dreaded driving to Raliegh from Concord every week, but it was a must. The schools I researched around me didn't offer classes the way the B-ty Institute does. This was my best decision yet and I will forever be grateful for Ms. Grace teaching us more than just hair. The business aspect helped me a lot when opening my salon. Here I am 1 year later after graduating (SPR 2021), I have a shop that has 6 stylist renting suites. My salons 1 year anniversary will be coming up on July 1st 2022. I am sooooooo happy I attended this school.
My most memorable experience at B-ty Institute was the first day of class! I remember going home feeling like I made the best decision. I literally cried thanking God that I was taught so much in one day. I knew the next 2 months were going to be worth every penny after that day.
My greatest accomplishment would be my opening up my very own salon. I literally stand here today at less than 1 year, completing my 10 year goal that I have in my portfolio! I have a product line that will be sold on Amazon in the next few weeks. My products consist of all natual hair oils (4 different types), kids shampoo and conditioner, Loc shampoo and conditioner, detangler spray, curling cream, hair serum braid and loc gel and more. This past year has been nothing short of amazing and I can't wait for what's next.
My inventive style is called knotless rose braids. These braids are a mixture of regular knotless braids and something similar to a fishtail braid. The way that the braid is made reminds me of rose pedals, which is how I came up with the name. Want to set a trend? Then book this look on my website.

After doing hair for 10yrs and being told that doing hair wasn’t a real job. I stepped out on faith and decided to go for my natural hair license. I already loved all things hair and knew I was gifted in it and I loved how B-ty institute was willing to help me accomplish my goal.
My most memorable experience at B-ty Institute is when Ms. Grace had a talk with my classmates and I, she told us how we should believe in ourselves and that the sky is not the limit for us but we can go far beyond that. I will never forgot how much she encouraged us to believe in ourselves and our gift.

What has inspired me to do Natural Hair Care is that when I was a child, playing with my dolls hair, I realized how much I enjoyed the experience. As time passed and I got older, my family could not keep me out of their hair salons. The experiences I have had with my clients and how my skills of creativity makes them feel has inspired me to go to school and to obtain a license so that I can do more within the industry.
What lead me to begin my education at B-ty Institute was based on all the research that I had done. It made me realize that I was going to be I attending the right school. I knew I wanted to learn something in depth, with proper guidance, and how to become successful in the industry. I am glad that I choose this school and I would make the same decision if I had to do it all over again.
My most memorable experience occurred when I was in class and I couldn't figure out how to lock my fingers correctly to braid. To correct the issue, my Instructor taped my fingers down to my hand so that I could have more control of what I was doing. Now that I am a licensed Natural Hair Care Stylist and have to do clients hair on a regular basis, keeping my fingers in the correct position is a whole lot easier.
