How do I receive my monthly statement?
B-ty Institute uses an electronic billing system, Bank of America Merchant Services, that allows you and anyone you have authorized to access your student account and eBill statements online. B-ty Institute does not send paper statements. Each bio-week/every two weeks, an eBill will be generated for all students who have activity of any kind on their student account. Students and authorized users (if applicable) will be sent a notification via-email every two weeks informing them that a new billing statement is available to view.
Does B-ty Institute offer a Payment Plan?

When will I receive my tuition bill?
Tuition bills cannot be generated until a student is registered for classes. Students who register during the priority registration period can expect his/her Spring Trimester tuition bills to be generated by March 02, Fall Trimester tuition bills by August 3, and Winter Trimester tuition bills by November 09. Students registering after those billing dates won’t be billed until the end of the month during which they enroll and should check immediately with the Business Office for payment details.
When is my tuition due?
** Payment in full or the first payment of the Payment Plan for the Spring Trimester is due no later than the day prior to the orientation of class. Check the class scheduled for the day of orientation. For an Example, a Spring Trimester first day of class is on March 14th and the day of orientation is March 9, then payment will be due no later than March 8th.
What is an ebill notification?
The eBill notification is the automatic automatic email which sent to the student’s via e-mail reporting that the latest eBill is available to view online. Parents and other responsible parties will not receive notices or have access to eBills unless the student sets them up as authorized users in the eBill website.
Where and how are tuition payments made?
The preferred methods of payment are via ePay, the secure online payment gateway offered through our online billing servicer, or by wire transfer.

If mailing a payment please include your student ID number on your check or money order and mail to B-ty Institute Collections Student Services Center. Accepted forms of payment are all major credit cards, checks or money orders payable to B-ty Institute, LLC.
Why do I have a hold on my records?
A hold can be placed on your records by the departments to ensure that the student complies with B-ty Institute and/or other regulation. A hold can prevent a student from registering for a future terms, obtaining a transcript, certificate of completion or other Institution services. You can request a copy of your hold records by writing to B-ty Institute Collections Student Services Center at 5655 Western Blvd. Suite: F

Academic Advising – usually regarding an academic requirement.
Financial Assistance Office – usually for students failure resolve financial and payment issues
Dean’s Office – usually for failure to resolve conduct issues.
Business Office – Can be for missing forms (Tuition and Fee Master Payment Contract) past due payments, expected financial Assistance not received, excessive fines, etc.
What is the Tuition and Fee Master Payment Contract?
The Tuition and Fee Master Payment Contract is required of all students and notifies students and responsible parties of their rights and responsibilities regarding the tuition account. .
How is my Financial Assistance and payment plan is determining?
**To qualify for B-ty Institute Tuition Assistance and Room/Board Financial Assistance students must apply online and if qualify student must choose a payment plan and must pay the required deposits accordingly.
What is the B-ty Institute Tuition Refund Policy?
B-ty Institute has a NO REFUND policy unless under certain circumstances. See B-ty Institute student’s handbook for more detail.
Will I be receiving a 1098-T Tuition Statement?
B-ty Institute will report to the IRS required information about students who were billed for at least one credit hour in any quarter of a tax year. 1098-T statements will be mailed by January 31st of the following year. If you were not billed tuition and fees for the preceding year, you will NOT receive a 1098-T. If you do not have a valid SSN or TIN on file, you will NOT receive a 1098-T.

What types of charges are reflected on the student account?
Most charges that a student incurs on campus will be reflected on the student account.
These charges include but are not limited to:
* Tuition
* B-ty Institute Student Living or Apartment
* Course/Lab Fees
* Student Activities Fee
* Damages fees (if applicable)

I dropped my classes by the deadline, Will do I still owe anything?
No, if you drop your classes by the deadline your account will zero-out but there will be no refund of any previous payment made.

What if I cannot pay off my entire balance during the term?
A past due balance will prevent registration for future terms and the release of transcripts and/or certificate of completion. Student accounts that are not resolved by the end of the Trimester are referred to the in-house collections representative in the Student Business Services Office, who is authorized to establish special payment plans. Failure to satisfactorily resolve the balance may result in the account being referred to a collection agency at which point the delinquency is reported to a credit bureau and legal action may be pursued.
My account has a Bad Debt hold, what does that mean?
A Bad Debt hold means that you still have an unpaid balance with the B-ty Institute. Please contact our Collections Student Services Center for further assistance.

If I have a collections hold on my account do I receive an eBill?
Yes, a payment plan statement will be sent to your mailing address and/or you will also receive an eBill notification. Statements/eBills are available to view 24/7 online.
Please keep in mind that while you are set up on a payment plan with the collections office the “Current payment plan” listed on your billing statements do not pertain to your payment plan option with B-ty Institute. The full amount due on your statement or your payment plan amount listed on your Letter of Intent pertains to your account only.
